Young Startups often underestimate the potential of branding or can only allocate minimal resources to the topic. With the Startup Brand Camp 2023 we want to inaugurate a platform that helps early-stage startups to build a foundation for their brand quickly and early on.
In times when almost every innovation lead is quickly made up and all market participants are dependent on the same advertising networks, differentiation at the product or marketing level is becoming increasingly difficult to discern. In such an environment, the power of branding is gaining even more importance.
The Startup Brand Camp is a three-day invitation-only event consisting of masterclasses and workshops hosted by experts from Jung von Matt, WallDecaux, Appinio, Google and Project A. Each day is focused around one key topic which startups will learn the basics and apply them to their business, building the foundation for their future brand marketing.

Since the Startup Brand Camp is dedicated to early-stage startups, we only accept applications from startups younger than four years and below Series B stage. Bootstrapped companies are encouraged to apply as well. From all applications, five founding teams will be invited to the event. At the end of day three, each team will present their outputs in front of our expert jury, and the winning team will receive an extensive prize package.

The first day will focus on target groups and provide insights and best practices for generating consumer insights in market research and depicting audiences with personas.
On the second day, we will cover the topic of brand strategy – from competitor analysis to positioning and storytelling to best practices for the go-to-market of startup brands.
On the third day, everything will revolve around communication, bringing a brand to life. Topics covered will be brand management, paid media channels and customer journeys.
At the end of day three, we will close the event with presentations of the work in front of our expert jury. The jury award winner will receive an extensive prize package compiled by our partners.
